If 2024 was the year SNOAP found its feet, then 2025 was the year we learned to fly. It has been transformational in every sense — professionally, personally, and emotionally. As the year ends and I finally take a moment to breathe, I wanted to share the journey with you… because you have been a part of it.
January: A Fresh Start
We began the year sending out Advent Giveaway gifts with Juno Magazine and rebuilding our CRM system behind the scenes — not knowing how important that foundation would become.
February: The Month Everything Changed
Then came Dragons’ Den 🐉🔥
Without a preview, we watched the episode unable to sit down, and what followed was extraordinary. We were fought over by all five Dragons. By Monday, our team quadrupled overnight, a larger post van had to be brought in from Cardiff, and I had received over 16,000 messages from across the world.
It changed everything overnight.
March: Inspiration, Connection & NatWest London
March brought grounding and uplifting moments — International Women’s Day at Bluestone, an event with City to Sea, and speaking at the NatWest Business Hub in London, which was a true highlight.
I was also invited by Deborah Meaden to attend Dock & Bay’s 10th anniversary celebration — a brilliant evening surrounded by founders and sustainability champions .
April: Speaking & Retail Expansion
I spoke at the Women in Business – Taking the Leap event and SNOAP launched into its first retail outlet at Our Precious Earth in Minehead.
We were also shortlisted for the Chambers Wales Innovation Award.
May: Founder Conversations & Welsh Business Growth
A brilliant conversation on podcast It’s Only a Prototype and an invitation to speak at the Welsh Regional Business Bootcamp made May a month of learning and connection.
June: A Huge Sustainability Milestone
June brought one of our proudest achievements:
🌍 We have now stopped over 260,000 single-use plastic bottles from polluting the planet.
A number that still doesn’t feel real.
I was also invited to speak in Parliament — an incredible moment as not only the only Welsh business but the only woman, to talk through (and help Parliament understand) why IP protection was top of my list of priorities and why the UK is falling behind our European neighbours in protecting our inventions — SNOAP was also shortlisted for the Wales Business Awards. We welcomed Alicia to the team too.
July: Partnerships, Holiday & Chambers Wales
We teamed up with Waterhaul and Spudos for a Summer Giveaway and took a much-needed family holiday.
I also spoke at the Chambers Wales Business Connect Breakfast: Entering the Dragons' Den — a room full of engaged, passionate professionals, which in turn lead to future speaker invitations.
August: Momentum Behind the Scenes
Our new social strategy started to show real promise. I also spoke at a VanLove team building event — a great day, even if my teenage son wasn’t overly impressed! 🤣
September: Graduation & Back to University
I was honoured to address 450 graduates at the Educ8 ceremony and returned to Cardiff University for the Help to Grow programme — a standout experience of 2025.
October: Health, Awards & Fundraising
We joined vital conversations around women’s heart health, were shortlisted for two more business awards, and were part of raising over £18,900 for Prevent Breast Cancer through Buy Women Built - a very proud moment. We also intorduced our Sampler and Discovery Sets, they are the perfect way to litteraly try SNOAP before buying the dispenser and bars. They have been a huge Christmas hit, you can find them here: https://snoap.com/collections/gifts
November: Floods & Another Green Award
Monmouth suffered devastating floods and we narrowly escaped.
We attended the Rolls of Monmouth Christmas Fair and…
🏆 SNOAP won Green Business of the Year for the second consecutive year at the Torfaen, Monmouthshire and Bleanau Gwent Business Awards.
December: Full Circle
I returned to Cardiff Business School as an alumna for a day of learning and inspiration.
And now, as we send out the final orders of 2025, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude.
Thank You
To everyone who bought from us, stocked us, partnered with us, invited me to speak, or simply supported our small Welsh business — thank you.
Here’s to a kinder, greener, more sustainable 2026.
Lisa x
