Why You Need A Refillable Solid Soap Dispenser Bundle
"I checked what's actually in liquid hand soap. I won't be buying it again."
During lockdown in 2020, I started reading the labels on every bottle in our home. At least 80% of liquid hand soap is just water. The rest is mostly synthetic detergents that strip the natural oils from your skin while they clean. We were paying £2-3 a bottle for what was, essentially, water in a single-use plastic bottle. That gets thrown away within weeks.
In 2019, 1.8 billion single-use plastic bottles were discarded from domestic hand, hair and body washing in the UK. Most of the pump heads can't even be recycled. So I spent two and a half years inventing the alternative.
We're shipping water around the globe in single-use plastic bottles. It's a strange thing to do, when you stop and think about it.
SNOAP has so many reasons to be a great investment opportunity. It's good for the purse (the solid bar soap is much much more economic than liquid soap) and it's much better for the planet… no more transporting water around unnecessarily.
SNOAP is solid soap, made simple.
SNOAP is a refillable dispenser that takes a solid soap bar and grates it into a soft powder as you wash. Same convenience as a pump bottle. None of the single-use plastic, none of the water filler. The bars are made with nourishing natural ingredients (e.g. shea butter, buttermilk, coconut oils) that clean and naturally moisturise with every wash. Dermatologically tested.
Two SNOAP bars give you around 2,000 hand washes. That's the equivalent of 20 single-use plastic bottles of liquid soap. When the bars run out (months later, depending on your household), you drop in a refill. The dispenser stays. The single-use plastic bottles never come back.
Same convenience. Better in every way that matters.
The average UK household wastes £150+ a year on liquid hand, hair and body wash. SNOAP replaces it.
Stop wasting £150+ a year on water in bottles.
The average UK household (2.4 people) goes through 67 bottles a year of hand, hair and body wash. That's 28 bottles per person, and the bottles are 80%+ water. A SNOAP bundle covers it with just 7 soap bars per year for the whole household (about 2-3 bars per person).
Your first year with SNOAP.
Drop in a soap bar, screw on the top, you're done. The travel dispensers work in your handbag, gym bag and car, and they're great for secondary sinks at home too.
Hands feel noticeably softer. The bathroom looks better. Refills cost a fraction of what your liquid hand, hair and body wash used to.
A daily habit shifted. 7 SNOAP bars covered your household's hand, hair and body wash for the year. Every year from here, the savings compound and the single-use plastic stays out of landfill.

Common questions, answered.
The SNOAP Dispenser is 24cm tall on the wall mount, and 34cm in total on a Countertop Stand. It can be wall-mounted using nano-suction tape (on smooth surfaces like glass or tiles) or screws, or used free-standing on the counter. Specific dimensions and stand options are on the product page.
Two options. Nano-suction tape (best for smooth surfaces like glass or tiles, not painted walls) or screws (using appropriate fixings, not included). For the tape, clean and dry the surface, apply the tape to the back of the wall mount, peel the backing off, and press the mount firmly to the wall for 60 seconds. Wait 24 hours before attaching the dispenser. There's a short setup video in the How It Works section of the SNOAP site.
Yes. SNOAP has been tested in many hard water areas across the UK with great feedback. Our Living Luxury and Precious Planet soaps contain natural ingredients that help reduce scum and boost lather in hard water areas. Use warm water and a bit of elbow grease for a great lather. SNOAP puffs (made from recycled ocean plastic) are recommended in the shower for extra lather.
SNOAP bars contain glycerine, a natural moisturiser that's usually stripped out of liquid soap to make it lather more. That's why solid soaps tend to be more moisturising than liquid soaps or hand washes. Our bars are made with nourishing natural ingredients (e.g. shea butter, buttermilk, coconut oils) that clean and naturally moisturise. Dermatologically tested.
